Encountering stray dogs on the streets is not a rare thing. In fact, we can all probably name an instance when we run into one during the day.

However, how often have any of us helped or seen somebody helping them in any way? A simple gesture like giving food is sometimes enough.

It doesn’t take a miracle to do this, but it happens less than people assume. We all have to collectively do more to help out the animals who need our help.

In this story, we will talk about a kind rescuer who stumbled upon two stray puppies and decided to help them.

The Cutest Roadblock

Driving down a quiet road, a rescuer from Georgia’s Luck’s Rescue suddenly noticed a pack of stray dogs. Among them were two timid puppies, seemingly desperate yet wary of human contact.

Although they cautiously approached her, their barks revealed their uncertainty. Despite their initial fear, they soon calmed down, allowing her to get close enough to help.

Taking advantage of the moment, she gently placed them in her vehicle and offered them food. The sight of their hunger was heart-wrenching, but it marked the beginning of their journey to recovery.

Heading to a clinic in Georgia, she ensured they received immediate medical attention, including dewormers and vaccinations. Following a refreshing bath, she meticulously removed ticks from their fur.

Now named Fido and Finley, the puppies were soon relocated to a foster home. Here, they would wait for loving families to adopt them and give them the homes they deserved.

Mission Was Not Over Yet

Despite the happy outcome for Fido and Finley, the rescuer knew her mission was far from complete. Other dogs in the area still needed help.

Her initial attempts to rescue them had failed, but she discovered that someone had been feeding them. She sought out this person and requested their help in capturing the dogs and covering medical expenses.

With the person’s cooperation, she set up several feeding stations, successfully drawing the attention of the strays. However, their fear remained palpable.

Among them was Fido and Finley’s mother, who was sadly blind. Her condition made her movements difficult, but the rescuer was determined to ensure she received proper care.
