According to a Facebook statement from the City of Greenwood Village Government, “K-9 Mercury, who is trained in searching and tracking missing persons, tracked and found the missing woman clinging to a tree down a steep ravine where she could not be seen from the roadway or canal.”
Officer Speer assured the frightened woman that Mercury was friendly and had just helped in finding her. The gratitude in her voice was evident as she responded, “That’s good.”
