Help Is On The Way
After a long search for the right house, the rescuer finally arrived at the location. Instantly, they noticed a cage in the yard, where a sad, tired face peered out, silently pleading for help. The rescuer wasted no time confronting the owner, who admitted they didn’t want to pay for any medical bills; they were only interested in having puppies.
Seeing the pup’s extremely swollen belly, the rescuer knew she needed urgent veterinary care. As the pup stared up with hopeful eyes, the rescuer decided to offer money in exchange for the dog. The owner agreed, and finally, this beautiful girl was in safe hands, destined for a better life.
At The Vet
After an hour-long drive, the rescuer arrived at the vet clinic where the patient pup received a thorough examination. The vets discovered an excessive amount of fluid in her heart, pressing against her lungs. The pup underwent a procedure to drain her belly, feeling a mixture of anxiety and relief.
Once the fluid was drained, it was evident how malnourished she was—just skin and bones. Fortunately, her health stabilized, allowing the rescuers to focus on her recovery and well-being.
New Life
With a newfound appetite, the pup eagerly devoured her meals, gaining a healthy amount of weight in just three months. The rescuer named her Dulce and marveled at the transformation. Dulce became a happy, playful, and lively pup, a stark contrast to her previous state.
